    Gen 4 ACR wanted

    Hi guys,
I'm actively looking to buy a low mile Gen 4 ACR for my collection. What all was included from the factory with these that I should be looking for? (Books, window sticker obviously), but was there any specific ACR stuff? Like the Gen 5's came with a bag for the splitter extension, stuff like that.

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

There were two splitters extensions. The shock adjustment tool. ACR manual and supplement. The tool for the wing adjustments.

    I think that's it?

Ok, was one extension bigger than the other?

    Thanks!

That's what I have (just one), in bubble wrap. It's never been on the car.

I'm pretty confident there were two.

You had one for the street and one for the track.

DSE offers them aftermarket. The stock ones are the two top images.

Just curious, what are you considering low miles?

I want an extremely nice, original car, around 2K-10K miles, not low enough to where I don't want to drive it once in awhile, but low enough that it's a time capsule. I think I found one already

The street version is just the cutout from the added extension. One would bolt on the extension for the track. The front belly pan has the street version of the extension built in.

... I understand what you're saying...but they're two different pieces. Both can be removed, and they both can't be installed at the same time. They use the same bolt holes.

Would it be correct to say the street version is the one that is actually installed on the car when delivered new and the track version is the one that's loose (not installed) in bubble wrap upon delivery? I think that might clear everything up for everyone.

So the car does indeed come with two splitter extensions? One standard (small) attached to the car upon delivery, and another, extended track version that comes separately in bubble wrap?

This all seems like semantics. The piece that comes on the car isn't extending anything, it's just the scalloped rub strip that sits under the leading edge of the actual carbon splitter. It can be removed and replaced with the track extension which came wrapped in the trunk. The others have mentioned what else came with the cars, but it should also be mentioned that if the car was a hardcore edition it also came with a lap timer beacon/receiver and then all the carbon block off panels which were installed in place of the factory audio equipment.

I have seen less ACR Hardcore than ACR-X cosmetic replicas...only one I know is my friend's 2009 or 2010 Hardcore, used to hate those carbon panels

    Hope many Hardcores were made?

I bought the panel closeouts from Doug for my old car.

I've never seen hardcore package production numbers documented anywhere.

I haven't either. I can't imagine they made more than 50. You never see them up for sale anywhere.
