Steering rack bushing

Hi guys,

Took the viper last week for a shake down at Yas Marina! Noticed very horrible bump steer at the new fast turns! Noticed afterwards a clicking noise when I take really sharp U-turn. Long story short the rack is moving. the bushings seemed to soften! Checked the dodge dealership and they are not available anymore!

I know Doug used to have solid bushing but not in his website anymore! TKO only sells a driver side bushing! Any other options? I need it ASAP as I have 3 racing events in the next 2 weeks!!

Are you sure the steering rack is no longer available? They were as of like 3 months ago. I would call JonB. If he doesn't have one there is a refurbed unit on Ebay.

World Parts Direct lists them but not sure if they actually have them.

AFIK, rack bushings are the same size, L or R. Is Gen 5 an oddball for some unknown reason?

Fixed with Dougs delrin bushings and Ti bolts. Feels good to have it fixed! Hope this will prevent any future issues.

Fyi - new rack also comes with new tie rod ends but not new bushings
