    Speedometer and odometer stopped working

    Hi guys..

My gen IV viper speedometer and odometer stopped working, no moving at all

Everything else works on the dash, no codes no abs cells or anything.

What would be the cause and how can i fix it ?

I have seen similar threads but no answers unfortunately.

    Regards.

    Hi,
I once had to replace the speed sensor located in the tail housing of the transmission, lower right side I think.
    Thanks

Gen4 speed is calculated from the wheel sensors for the ABS. Since you don't have an ABS code, it might actually be a faulty speedometer.

By speedometer you mean the whole gauge cluster unit ?

Then i might have to change the whole cluster and see what happens from there

But whats making me go crazy is that both the speedo and odometer stopped working at the same time

    Thanks bro really appreciate it.
