my performance pages app no longer works

The Viper performance pages no longer works. Uconnect is telling me that the app will no longer function due to it being a 3G app that is no longer supported by Uconnect. I don't understand why this app has anything to do with 3G services. I purchased the 4g module from Uconnect but that has not allowed the app to open. Any info appreciated.

I posted this awhile back that the rep told me this would happen and everyone said this wouldn’t happen.

Did you already have the 4g dongle when it died? Or do an update via SD card or go to dealer? Since 3g is long dead, I’m hoping if I don’t do any updates, and the car can’t update itself, I’ll retain the performance pages. I was out 3 days ago and still had performance pages.

I call SRT and they said their technical people will look into the issue and call me back. We will see what comes of that.

I use my performance gages all the time. I just had them on a few days ago. I would think you probably need an update. If you never registered your car with Mopar letting know you are the new owner, you would not receive the update chip. You can register online- Mopar.com

Finalleaf do you have an active Uconnect account on your 2013? I also have a 2013 and mine still work fine, and I do not have an active Uconnect account on this vehicle. Just wondering if its Uconnect that's the culprit that no longer recognizes the performance pages.

mine stopped working 2 years ago when I installed the 9L. I forgot about it as I have everything I need on the cluster. I don't want to look down when I'm on track so I don't seem to care for it.

Mine stopped working a few months ago. I also have the 4g dongle and it still doesn't work.

Mine has stoped working within the last few weeks as well. I don’t necessarily need the gauges but I do datalog my shocks and the g meters were helpful.

Funny mine continued working after my 9L Extreme install. Haven't checked them a couple of weeks though as I have been travelling.

2016 ACR. Mine works if I go to the menu page, select "apps", and then select "performance pages". It loads and works normally. However, as of very recently, if I try to select the SRT Performance Pages on my favorites menu, it defaults to "you do not have a current UConnect account", or something to that effect. I have never done any of the UConnect or Nav updates.

Btw, contacting the people at Mopar.com’s customer service is an utter joke. It’s actually worse than talking to low level DMV employees.

Upgrade your Uconnect to a Dodge 4C UAQ 8.4 Inch Uconnect Radio Navigation Touchscreen Apple CarPlay and you can keep performance pages with a dodge Challenger hellcat logo. Plus Apple carplay and Android auto. I just started a new thread on it.

I lost mine a few times after UConnect expired. I then realized that if I start up the pages when I'm at home (absolutely NO cell phone reception) they magically show up. If I drive the car to work, when I come back, I get an error message to the effect that the pages don't exist.

May be a fluke - but if yours goes out, see if you can find a spot where there's no cell phone coverage at all, let the car sit for a while, and then re-initialize the pages.

Anyone know when the touchscreen updated to 4G? I have a '17 and I'm hoping that I don't need to deal with the 3G crap.

One other thing that I've been pondering. My Jeep Rubicon 392 has a forward camera, and it seems to use the same 8.4" touch screen. It would be fantastic to have a head unit that supports a front camera. I've had too many near misses with parking spaces that it would be great to just buy the Jeep front camera, string it through the firewall, and plug it into the head unit. Maybe someone figures out how to re-flash the head unit to support something like that. Just a random ponder that really has nothing to do with this discussion's focus....

Ran the car (2017) today and no issues with the Performance Pages. I never had a time when they didn't work. I do try to keep up with the Software updates to the System and I have the free AT&T 4G dongle installed. I'm running Software revision 18.45.01. Perhaps the issue with some cars is that they never updated their head unit Software.

Warning: The latest head unit Software may require you to update your Navigation maps as well. The Navigation Maps update in not free!

The UAQ uconnect will support and second vidoe input. It will take some late night reading but it's definitely doable. Start Google 8.4 uaq uconnect update forums and you will many fca car forums where people have added all kinds of stuff to the uconnect. https://www.hellcat.org/threads/how-...8#post-4529589

Thanks for this!! I'm going to see if I can figure out a solution to the issue of the dreaded drive over a parking spot - and then backing out just to have the front splitter pulled off... This was a massive problem for me in both my Gen II and my Gen IV. The Gen II wasn't too bad because it would just flex and make a nasty noise and cause paint damage. The Gen V, though, is so full of expensive carbon fiber that it doesn't take much to destroy it. Having the front camera that I have on the Rubicon 392 would be awesome. I wouldn't have to get my wife to wave me in, which is always a bit embarrasing.

You can get the performance pages back by performing a factory reset on your radio. If you press and hold the temperature up and down button at the same time, you’ll be placed into the engineering menu. Once there, you can scroll down to the factory reset option.

Warning: Any apps that require 3G may no longer display with a name and/or picture in the menu. This didn’t happen to me, but I have seen one person report this issue. For most it shouldn’t be a problem - especially considering those apps should no longer work due to 3G being phased out.

Be careful doing factory reset. I did that one time and it bricked my entire system...
