    gen 1 brake pads

I see these hawk pads you can get or the ebc reds on viper sits..

.. what about the "track use" power stops rear and raybestos fronts from rockauto?

looking for better than oem stopping plus planning to do the nve5 next year and might need better pads for some tracking...

Do you reccomend getting the hawks or ebcs or would the best rockauto ones work just as good?

Hawk HPS are good pads for street use. Easy on rotors, good bite and fight fade. They are ok for light track use, but there are much better track options.

I run Hawk DTC 50's up front at the track. I got 3 days at Road America and 3 days at COTA on the same set. One of the pads was showing taper wear and I found a sticky piston on that caliper when I rebuilt them. I ran the same pair of OE-style slotted rotors throughout and they are still good for more track days.

I run the OE pads and rotors on the street, with light occasional track use. They make a lot of dust, but they work.

Mark, how do you like the Yellows? I will eventually be looking for something with GOOD bite.. Street use only.
    Thanks.

They seem to be working just fine, I use them for track and street.

I don't have any experience with Deans Hawk set up as that is not a brand sold this side of the pond.
