Body Shop for Gen V ACR Extreme in NJ

I am looking for a body shop for a Gen V ACR Extreme in the New Jersey area. I am very apprehensive about sending a ACR Extreme to just anybody, so I am looking for a place to send the car to a shop that is highly recommended by Viper guys. I was going to an autobody shop that works on Ferraris tomorrow, but I was told by a source that the work they do is not so great. Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!

oh my... PREFIX!!!!! dont gamble with expensive Carbon fiber panels with one of the best factory paint jobs every.. I'm a believer in the Asko-Noble paint used from the factory.. its beautiful and tough as nails. It may be a bit of a cost add.. but in my opinion worth every penny.

Call Scot at Prefix - He's EXCELLENT to work with!

First off, what do you actually need repaired? Prefix is going to be everyone's 1st choice, but maybe you have something more minor that you don't want to ship the entire car away for.

Funnily enough I was going to recommend calling a Ferrari shop. But that is not "a shop that works on Ferrari's". I'm talking the best Fcar body repair shop in the country, and we have it here in Elizabeth NJ. I saw some amazing work come out of those doors when I worked there a dozen or so years ago. It's worth the trip there just to roam the floors (heck, lmk when you go and I'll come along to see some old friends haha).

Here in North Carolina we have Kenny Hawkins Body Shop. His facility is where the ring car went to get a new frame and repaired after the accident. Besides Prefix that is the only place to have a Viper worked on. Kenny is a life long Viper owner and still has a few comp coupes he keeps in his race shop. They are located in Raleigh

As noted, what needs to be done? If it's limited to a single panel (say a door or side sill got crunched by some soccer mom minivan full of kids piling out), you still might want to go with Prefix. Just ship the damaged items to them. If it's anything involving the frame or multiple panels that are damaged - send the whole car to Prefix.

I’d love to do that. The problem with that is, Prefix no longer does the work for one offs directly since they moved their facilities. I’ll call Prefix tomorrow again to see what they say.

If you want to sell it as-is with the issues, let me know As long as it isn't one of the Stryker colors that needs to be matched.... The thought of that without sending to Prefix makes me want to have a stroke.

No thanks! This car will never be for sale. I’ll see to it that my car gets back to where it should be. My car is the TA Orange color.

Sounds like a keeper. Pictures? Would love to see it - either before or after the need to get a body shop.

Given the price of ACR decals it wouldn't surprise me!

Uh oh, the decal needs to be replaced. They're going to total the car...
