That's a base 911. 100hp less than the C8, which is heavier but power to weight ratio still much better for the Corvette...

The Porsche probably have a much beter geared gearbox. I couldn't follow a 500HP GT3 RS on the (up going) Adenauer Forst straight on the Nurburgring.

Remember all the magazine tests of the 700hp GT2RS vs the 755hp ZR1? The performance of the two cars were not even similar. The Porsche was almost 1 second faster in the 1/4 and 10mph higher trap speeds. That's an entirely different level of performance. Just massively underrated.

All the German turbo cars are massively underrated. The 4.0 Mercedes motors sometimes make more at the wheels than crank advertised. They do it so the cars can make full rated power under any circumstances.
Like if it makes 100hp over rated power under ideal conditions, they still want the car to make minimum rated power with 110* ambient and 280* oil for example.

Renntech likes to give stock cars a baseline before their tunes/mods. They are the only tuner I know of that is this honest instead of inflating their tune number.
The latest E63 is factory rated at 603hp 627tq. Renntech rates them at 685/667 average, 691/694 peak bone stock. McLaren underrates even more.

Now take the same car, put it in 110* Arizona heat after ran hard with high coolant and oil temps and yeah it'll make closer to rated power.

Not the Viper, I don't think it ever makes it's rated power. Timing is pulled at 201*. Most dynos are 530-560whp, that's a lot of loss.
