I fully support this petition due to concerns about parts availability for my 2017 Viper ACR-E. Gen2man.

Currently own 3 Dodge Ram 2500s, and an SRT10 quad cab.

1997 Viper GTS destroyed in 2017 wildfire.

We the undersigned are Viper owners. We are also loyal Stellantis customers and many of us own multiple vehicles from Jeep, Dodge, Ram, Chrysler, Ferrari, and Alpha. The Dodge Viper (or SRT Viper) was Dodge’s halo car and sold for a premium compared to other models. Many of us spent close to $150,000 to purchase our dream car. We treasure these cars and wish to enjoy them for years to come.

However, parts for our beloved Viper are now increasingly hard to find. This problem is not just for older Vipers (Gen 1-4 cars as they are known) but also for Gen 5 cars. The last Gen 5 Viper was built in 2017 and is only 5 years old. None the less, several parts are either discontinued or have become unavailable. Top on the list are window regulators for 2003-2017 Vipers. There are, as of this writing, 85 of each side on backorder.

Other items that are hard to find are: windshields (most new ones come through damaged), ball joints (discontinued), control arm bushings (discontinued), hoods (discontinued), ACR side sills (discontinued), door glass (currently unavailable), interior components (largely unavailable), other body panels (largely unavailable, other suspension parts (difficult to source), window switches (difficult to source). The list goes on.

We as owners of Dodge’s premier sports car are disappointed that Stellantis appears unwilling to continue to support the platform. Failure to treat your best customers well can only result in them not wishing to be customers any longer. Anyone that drives a Viper feels like a celebrity when they stop for gas or go for a drive. Crowds appear and want to know everything about the car. Even when we show up with other high end exotics, the Viper is King of the Hill and always garners the greatest attention.

We respectively request that Viper parts are once again made available so that we may keep our cars on the road. So you can appreciate how good we are as customers we are including with our digital signatures the number of other Stellantis vehicles we own.

It's ridiculous that we have to be afraid of driving our cars just because something really simple but unexpected could strand us away from home. Or, if something like a window regulator gets stuck down in the rain, or worse in a mouse-prone area, damage could go far beyond the cost of the regulator replacement.

Msquic: I own a orange TA viper which I purchased in 2014. I have put over 88k miles on the car and support the petition to keep parts available. I have been a loyal Dodge brand customer and this is my third Viper. Lack of parts availability could make this my last Stellantis purchase.

Have had plenty of vehicles from Stellantis, 7 other Vipers in the past, and I can confirm that purchasing a Viper converted many individuals to lifelong owners of Stellantis products. Currently I have a 2013 Viper Launch Edition, a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee and I just traded in my 2014 Ram 1500 for a new 2022 Ram !500 Laramie.

I am completely in favor of the petition to the good folks at Stellantis.

Ok, I’m in. Nine Chrysler vehicles currently; Viper ACR-E, Vioer GTS, SRT8 Challenger, Hellcat Challenger, Ram SRT10, Ram 2500, Ram 1500, ‘76 PowerWagon, ‘68 GTX convertible

Yes, parts are an issue as currently experiencing since outside door handle switch has failed on my ACR. Found some that are ordered but not easy and wasn’t even worth the hassle of using extended warranty on.
