    Roe Racing Tune Is Amazing

I just wanted to create a post praising Roe Racing and their excellent tunes. I first contacted them via phone and Scott picked up. He was very nice, professional, and knowledgeable about my car. I ordered an SCT tune from him and listed all my mods so far (headers, high-flow cats, Corsa exhaust, and K&N intake). He got me the tuner very quickly and even bumped me up to next day shipping as I had to wait a day longer than he had originally told me. I put the tune on immediately and it made a massive difference! The car now drives super smooth and it's 100 times easier to shift smoothly and take off from a standstill without any jerkiness at all. The car also feels like it's gained a massive amount of power. I've always felt like the car was down on power, perhaps due to the air/fuel ratio being out of wack because of the exhaust and intake mods, but now it feels like the monster it should be. I've had several cars in the 550 to 650 horsepower range and the Viper now feels like it's right up there with them. I'll have to get a dyno run in to see exactly what it's putting down, but it almost feels like I put on a supercharger compared to how it was when I got it. If anyone is on the fence about getting a tune, do yourself a favor and grab the Roe option. You'll love it!

Funny, I talked to him the other day and asked how business was...he did work on a '06 for me. He said it has been about 13 years since they did service work - how time flies. But he said it is just online business now, and the tune appears to be the type of the work they are known for!

I went to a dyno day running a Roe Tune. The verbiage used by the dyno owner was, "That's the A/F ratio people dream of." Shoutout to Roe for putting out rockstar tunes!

    That's great info there!
I was considering ordering a programmer/tune myself. You may have just pushed me over the edge.

It's honestly the best thing I've done to the car, and it costs a very reasonable 550ish dollars. I spent about double that for the tune I had on my old F-Type and it didn't do nearly as much to enhance the experience. You won't regret it!

I just picked up my 03 Viper this July. Chuck at Tator’s Garage installed Belanger headers, full exhaust, new clutch, new Michelin non run craps and a Roe tune for me. Man, what a difference. I’m coming out of a C7 Z06 and the Viper feels faster now. People at Roe racing are top notch, they took the time explaining what the tune does. They asked what mods, set it upped and shipped it.
Plug for Chuck at Tator’s, top notch service. I’m lucky enough to be a little over an hour away. We’ll worth the journey.

@vipersrtmike, I sold my 2019 C7 Z06 7 speed manual and bought a 2008 Viper Coupe. It has headers, gen v diff with 3.55 and gen v intake manifold, acr aero, stop tech two piece rotors, penske 2 way coilover and prefix pcm. It feels a lot faster than the C7Z did and is a lot more engaging to drive. The Z just felt boring and turned as many heads as a Honda civic.

I had the same experience with my F-Type R. It was an amazing car, but somewhat boring to drive honestly and almost no one seemed to care much about it or looked at it despite it being a beautiful car -- probably because there are cheap F-Types that you see around just like with Corvettes. Both of the Viper's I've owned, on the other hand, generate constant contact with people. I get told on a near daily basis that the Viper is someone's dream car and how awesome it is. You just can't beat the coolness factor of these cars unless you spend several hundred grand on something truly crazy. They're so raw and engaging to drive compared to almost anything else. I've been a Viper guy since I was 4 years old, and I simply don't want to drive anything else!

From this post is actually what pushed me over the edge. Ordered a tune and throttle body from Roe. Already had Belanger full exhaust, K&N intake with a 3.55 Wavetrac and new clutch.

Without question runs stronger and way, way smoother after the tune.

Super nice guys and superb service. So glad I finally did this.

Glad to see you took the plunge! Especially when you already have intake, exhaust, etc, it really makes a difference and compensates for the altered air/fuel ratio thanks to the mods. I've been thinking about 3.55 gears for a while now. How do you like them?

Wavetrac 3.55's I think made the biggest "seat of the pants" improvement. Definitely have to ease into anything under third gear, pulls harder than stock for sure. I would do it again without question.
