In the market for a Gen IV

I’m a long time lurker but finally a (soon to be) first time Viper buyer. I’m looking for the following:

Gen IV
- Coupe only, Non-ACR
- No stripes
- Clean title, 0 accidents

If anyone has one they’re looking to sell, has a friend or has tips shoot me a PM or reply! I’m located in GA but also willing to travel.

Awhit17, be prepared for your life to change. These cars are a magnet for attention, even from non car enthusiasts. You will be the most popular guy in your neighborhood!
Be sure to take advantage of Steve's offer to help you in your search. The guy is a wealth of knowledge and may just be the nicest guy you will ever meet.
For reference, a gentleman that Steve put me in touch with a little over a year ago, has just bought his first Viper. It is a 2008 Couple, SSG/Black stripes, 10k miles and looks to be a really, really nice car. I think the market has softened a bit and he got what I feel is a great deal. You can search BAT for the listing that ended last Saturday. BTW the same gentleman that bought this car has become one of my dearest friends. Crazy how these cars affect peoples lives. Good luck with your search.

Thanks! I’m really happy to be able to get into a Viper. The Gen IV in particular has always been at the top of my list. I’ve been following the market for a while knowing this day was coming. I wish I was ready with funds for that SSG car when it hit the block. I would probably break my no stripes rule for that car.

awhit17, I'm the gentlemen (lol) Brian is talking about. He couldn't be more correct! It most definitely draws attention; I wasn't 2 miles down the road and had people taking pictures and striking up conversations about it!! Had a motorcycle and Audi want to race on the drive home. Totally different feel then my brothers 08 vette. It has been a dream of mine since the first Gen was released. There is an amazing amount of information on this board and Steve and Brian have been over the top helpful. Good luck with your search and I hope you find the right car for you!!

Thanks so much everyone! I didn’t think I could make an ACR work but I was wrong and I couldn’t be happier. I love the blue as well. Not to mention it drives great!

As noted above, a local (to me) owner had mentioned that he was going to sell his Viper...and, things just happened to fall in place when I posted about it in this thread. It is a really nice ACR !!
