Only difference is I bought the grey pumps instead of white, this is what mine will look like…

It's definitely not for cinematography but it has its niche. There's some cool things you can do with this camera. The video is pretty good as long as there's decent light.

Who makes the mount - RAM? I see at least some of their components being used.

Care to elaborate some more? What are you going to do with it?

It’s a 360 video so going to try to get some decent video which will look like a video game.

    Kind of like this…

Here's a Viper vid (short) of someone using a similar setup: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/W9Tmmmt_dMk

I’ll post some vids on my YouTube but I don’t have a lot of time for editing.

Careful pulling into the garage! Joking aside, car looks good. Solid red Vipers have really grown on me.

    Lightning rod.

That's going to give an awesome view. Can't wait to see the vids. It's rare enough to see a Viper, but even rarer seeing one with a 10ft rod hanging off of it.

Still in middle of tests for work but I thought I’d post this small sample to show the potential of this setup…

Really interesting how they make the rod effectively disappear from view.

    Ah, the Belt Highway.

Is it still illegal to cruise the Belt back and forth? Something like you can't pass the same point 3 times within 45 minutes or something like that?

I'd love to see a track video made with that setup.

I would venture to guess there aren't many organizations that would allow that type type of arm holding the camera so far off the car?

It would be beneficial to have as a source of being able to see the full rotation of a car.

I never knew they had a law about driving on the belt hwy LOL…
    Track video would be awesome!
The pole is only 49”, camera angle makes it look longer.
I’d like to find a nice Bluetooth microphone so I could record the video to the Insta360 One X2 inside of the car so there’s no wind noise.

Very cool dude! I'll get one for the track soon!

Can you post a link to the mounts and carbon rod? I have the Insta360 which I've used before with a metal selfie stick and a ballhead, but your setup looks waaaay more rigid.

    Here's mine-
