    Looking for front splitter

Anyone selling a front splitter or making them. I hear apr does not make their front splitters anymore. I know you can buy a acr front splitter for 8k but I am not looking to spend something like that. I would like something similar to apr kind of front splitter. Anyone know of anyone who selling something similar. Also I suppose an acr style splitter just not the actual one.

Plywood is easy to find, but it might cost more than carbon fiber these days.

It’s so ironic that you say that. But I actually plan on now just making it myself. Cardboard cutout then going to an plastics shop here in town to get it made out of abs either 1/2 or 3/4 in abs plastic. Then following all the holes plus same internal and external acr bracing.

I cracked my APR front splitter a few months ago and ran into a similar issue, I ended up emailing them directly and they put me on a waitlist with no commitment of when it would be made. They ended up emailing me probably 6 weeks later in early June to notify me it would be in their next run. I received it a couple of weeks later.

I have been attempting to get a replacement APR front splitter for the past year with no success. I would occasionally check back with CARID.com at their website and talk to one of their product experts. Lo and behold they checked with APR and they have a ship date of next week. Until I actually get it I will be skeptical, but it looks like at long last I will be getting my new one. I will send an update when I hopefully get it.

Yeah I wouldn’t mind the apr one but I hear there is like 6+ month wait and that is just to long. So I figured to make my own. However one would think if they have such a demand for them that they would make a lot more since they have the molds for them

How bad is the cracked one. Could you send me pictures might buy it off you and fix it myself.

It broke into two pieces so not worth it. Contact APR directly is your best bet. I just PM'd you the guy I was emailing with there.

I wanted Gen V owners to know that I got my new APR Front Splitter today via UPS. I had ordered it in July and they actually got me a nice newly manufactured one today. I ordered it through CAR ID but I think it is available through other people. It was a year- long wait, but they have started building them again and hopefully you will be able to get one in a timely manner.
