New diffuser

Yea, I think this looks so much better than the riveted strakes but at a price.

Doesn’t look like it’s very low. There’s a reason diffusers aren’t one piece carbon. They rub.

I emailed the company for pics on car because I’d like to also see what it looks like installed…I wouldn’t ever install the stock diffuser as it’s way too low for where I drive and I don’t personally like the look of the stock diffusers.

That looks great. I assume it is for non-ACR cars. Now I wish someone would make a carbon fiber grille to replace that cheap POC on the front of our cars.

Don't be fooled. This is purely aesthetic and highly likely it will get scraped, cracked, or damaged at some point. I looked at this closely a while back and also bought a couple of carbon pieces from this company for my Viper. The quality of the carbon was crap and I returned them the same day the package showed up.

There was bad reviews on the company I bought my front spoiler from and it turned out really nice from Abaza Carbon.

I have no personal experience with Vivid, but have seen numerous posts of their carbon parts fitting poorly on the Gen V or issues in the carbon layers. I'd purchase at your own risk.

You don’t want a functional 1pc diffuser. First time it runs will be a serious problem. And it will run if it’s functional.

It looks the same height to the ground as the stock piece so I don’t see any kind of problem hitting the ground. If you hit the ground with this piece, you’re going to have bigger problems than the diffuser.
And this would be for street use, no track.

Not necessarily true. The function and efficiency of a diffuser depends on the angle of divergence from the ground. Anything over about 6 Degrees has some effect, with 10-12 degrees being more or less the optimum without some serious CFD and testing to make sure you don't have separated airflow. 15 degrees is achievable with proper design. The strakes are simply to prevent airflow spill-over from one section to another. When you take the apparent angle of this diffuser (just from looking at the photos) and add the rake, it will probably have some effect. The strakes are a little "clunky", and would be more effective if they were narrower and went closer to the ground. As Sniper says, they are not deep enough to hit the ground except perhaps on very tall speed bumps at parking lot speeds. This diffuser would not be my choice for track performance, but I don't think it would hurt anything on the street. Quality and fit is another issue, and I don't know the answer. Just MHO.

Edit: This is the minor, upper element of a two element diffuser I designed and built. It has a 12 degree divergence angle and works with the air flowing from the spinning axles and exit air from the differential and transmission cooler fans. Four inches below that is a second element that is an extension of the belly pan. It ends in a 15 degree divergence and uses the exhaust airflow exiting between the two diffuser elements to create a negative air pressure above the lower element. It has deep strakes very similar to the ACR. Still to be tested under real track conditions.

Sorry, I didn't see any posts that mentioned that, only that he realized it didn't work for track. That being said, anything is better than nothing (if it works a tiny bit!) so I wouldn't purchase for anything other than looks. Like you, I was thinking about a carbon grill. Thoughts about it all the way to work this morning. Hell, I almost would rather have a shiny panted one vs the flat/satin stocker.

I thought about painting mine. It doesn't solve my biggest gripe, which is the middle row ("braces") and the two fangs. An open grill would look much better.
