Entire new splitter or just a boomerang

The boomerang was glued in when I bought it, but it finally gave away. The screw underneath doesn't seem to be working either. Should I just replace the entire thing or can I just swap out the boomerang?

I believe what you are calling the Boomerang is available from Doug Shelby. Maybe replace it and use strong 1/4" rivets and double faced tape.

I should clarify, the bolt or rivet isnt screwing in, so I was unsure if it damaged the splitter

This happened to me too. ARD sells replacement 2.0 boomerang guards. Try taking off the guard and replacing the rivnut in the carbon splitter. McMaster Carr has the rivnuts. You will also need a rivnut expansion tool. It is not difficult.

Bummer - you have a TA 2.0? if not you could run the TA 1.0 rub guards which are a little less aggressive and may not hook on as many things..

No, just a GT. I actually prefer the look of the 2.0 guards. The screws themselves ended up snapping in half

These trifold rivets may work out well for that. These are the same rivets that hold on the front canards on my car

Not sure what I was thinking. The guards are in decent shape, rivets should do the trick. Now I just need to get squeezed into the schedule

I don’t think you have OEM aero, at least judging by the pic where your rub strip is hanging down from the pothole. Mine really are completely shaped like a boomerang and yours appears to have a V shape on the underside where it bolts to the carbon fiber. I only note this because you need to figure out who made those so that you order the right replacement boomerangs, otherwise your bolts aren’t going to line up.

Damn it, I already ordered them. I could possibly make additional holes in the guards, I'd assume

3m tape unfortunately came undone and tore up the complete underside of the driver's side splitter.

So if anyone has ta 2.0 splitters for a 2015, let me know
