PO300 code on 2006 showed 4 cylinder misfires

After topping off the gas drove a short distance and engine light came on. No change in RPM, was doing about 60MPH in 4th. When arrive home code reader showed PO300 code with 4 cylinder misfires. 1,3,7, and 10. It also showed a -37 detonation. Cleared code, don't know if that was wise or not, drove 10 miles after clearing code with no issues. Did not push above 2000RPM. Any ideas what this could be? Should I continue to drive it? I am no mechanic and don't want to run engine. Thanks

    Possibly bad gas.

the car would not be running well with 4 cylinders misfiring. Bad gas, spark plugs or wires would be where I would check. Good luck

I think you were correct. Have not had an issue again.

Appears it might have been bad gas. After reset have not seen a code. Knock on wood.
