Just speaking intuitively (aka completely out of my ass), the spoiler becomes less and less effective (relatively speaking) as speed gets higher and you just create a sublayer over it. Now it's pretty tall so maybe not so much, but a wing won't have that issue. A splitter and wing won't continue to increase at the same ratio either.
This may be of interest. You can see the flow characteristics of these two different spoiler configurations.. They were taken at a standing mile event at close to 180 mph. The steeper (upward) the angle of airflow coming off the spoiler, the more downforce and drag is being generated. The last photo is William Hubble's ACR in the rain.

Your car looks great! What a deal for a rear lid with wing. I’ve been on the fence on paying 3k for an oem wing alone. Damn things will be 5k soon lol.

Looks crazy good with that carbon front lip too

13COBRA - Great find. It would be interesting to see what's going on under the car (diffuser/rocker panels). I'm jealous of you, I've always wanted to take the aero on the C.C. to a different level but I don't have the $$$. Thanks for posting pics of Bob's car.

It really won't be as pricey as you'd guess.

    I'd say all in $10k.

Wind tunnels don't really work well for underbody air flow because movement on the road isn't simulated. You will create a boundary layer that isn't there. I think some wind tunnels that have a moving ground, like a treadmill, but I've never used one or seen one.

The Z07 (so the two big flaps on the end, similar to TA, plus a center "bridge") is supposedly good for about 734lbs of downforce vs the 1000lbs from the ZR1 wing. Those figures are the total downforce, including hood vents and splitter, but I doubt that's very significant on the Z06. ZR1, maybe a little. I'd guess the TA spoiler is about 4-500lbs worth at the magical 186mph number- so basically nothing at any corner speeds I see. Highest corner speeds I may see are like... 100mph. Maybe 100lbs there? Probably close to nothing under 75mph.

BTW, I actually noticed exactly what was in the picture of the Corvettes above when pressure washing my car.

It's all done- he just wants it to cure another day in the shop, so I'll pick it up tomorrow.

He sent a bunch of pictures. Looks the paint matched up really good. The deck lid was black, so that matched perfect. He sanded down where the stripes are to be added, added them and cleared over it all and wet sanded it. Said the stripes look OEM and matched well too.

Looks so mean with the diffusers and the steamroller tires.

He adjusted a few panels to close the gaps up too. I never thought much of them, but he said they're all tighter and more uniform, so wahoo.

What was the install process for the diffuser?

Not bad at all. Probably took me 6-8 hours, taking my sweet sweet time. I took my wheels and fender liners out, but definitely didn't need to IIRC. Keep in mind, it takes me a good 45 min to get my car up on the quick jacks and another 20-30 to get them down because it's so low + side skirts. I have to drive up on low profile ramps and a 2" wood block in the rear (which is a pain to get them both at the same time), then jack up the rear, then get the QJ out and connected, then jack the car up.

My buddy in Denton. After a certain point, body shop work is more about giving a darn and taking your time than skill. Having a friend (who has been in the industry for decades) taking their time > fancy shop imo. Fancy shops are basically the same thing, less the friendship part haha.
