    Seat lowering kit

I've been driving my 2005 Viper for about a year now and it's been great. i just went to my first track day and found out that with a helmet on it bumps against the support bar for the convertible top. i tried slouching a bit and that helped but it wasn't very comfortable. Where should I go for a seat lowering kit? I want to retain the adjustability of the seat so I think a 1" drop would be what I need.

    Thanks,

IPSCO will have what you need, I have the -2" inch on my 06 coupe.

Just remove the seat and flip the rear bracket upside down (it may have weld that need to be cut). It will drop the back of the seat ~2" and it's free.

That's what I did, and it worked quite well.

Same. Angle grinder is your friend. And gives you better thigh support than the seat drop kits as well.

I guess I can try flipping the rear bracket and if I don't like it I can always go back. Thanks for the suggestions.
