28K miles is a lot for a collector car which this would need to be to reach the higher #'s. My guess is $135-150K.

Personally, I wouldn't purchase this exact car at any price as I would not view it as a collectible. These cars are very rare considering only 100 were made but the odds that any of them disappear going forward is very low since most will rarely be driven again. The collectible versions of these cars will be the lower mileage examples - which there are plenty (out of the 100 made). In the link to the Hagerty price guide this car is in the "good" condition category which puts the value (from Hagerty's database) in the $115K range as of Jan '22. Regardless, it will be interesting to watch.

Interesting enough, a collector bought it. The vast majority of his collection is #1 vehicles. He knows how rarely these become available and having a collectable that he can drive was a big plus. The April Hagert #3 number was $123,000 I believe. Will likely move higher.

The mileage is going to hurt the price for sure. It's way out of the collectable range. Be surprised if it passes 150K.

JonB is a great historian of these Vipers. I hope he posts his thoughts.

    April Hagerty value at $123,000 for a # 3 "Good" GT2.

    Minus - Miles

Plus - Original owner, documentation from purchase, can be driven without worry of depreciation.

Someone is going to own an icon...

Bam, $140k. Always interesting how the bidding sometimes doesn't really begin until about 5 min before the auction ends... popcorn...
