    My new torque wrench

Got myself a new torque wrench... might be a bit oversized for the Viper though

Did a private tour at Stahlwille headquarter and production site in Wuppertal, one of Germany's top notch manufacturer of hand tools. It was very interesting to see, how their tools are made. What surprised me was, that although a lot is done by robots, there are still manual production steps existing, e.g. sanding of ceratin areas and edges of various hand tools. We also calibrated my own little Stahlwille torque wrench (4Nm-20Nm), perfect to tighten oil pan, intake manifold or valve covers (->11Nm)

Hopefully they have something to keep the red building next door from falling over into their headquarters.

Don't worry, the wide-angle lens distorts the view, the building is fine, I was in that one as well

If I remember correctly, the one I was holding could do up to 750 ft-lb...

The HYTORC in action is simply amazing. No need for a 6 foot breaker bar and 3 guys to remove/install the wheels and has fully programmable tightening sequences including ft/lbs and degrees of rotation.

Haha, and 10 times more expensive. For the record, you don’t need 3 guys to undo or torque the wheels.
