Not sure but it looks like SRT has finally found the market pricing for the SRT. 90-110K looks like it's the spot that cars are starting to move. Higher numbers for performance models just like always. So much car for the money. I almost bought that black with red interior GTS in PA last week for 99K, but decided to give My local dealer Tomball the business instead.

IMHO the issue is part of that, if you are going to drop $125k+ - you'll want something that you choose the options. I wouldn't be paying $140k for a car that was my "second choice" in color. Stupid dealers.

But some guys are basically stealing these cars, kudos to them. Sadly, it does leave a bad taste in the mouths of people who bought up front - but such is life, can't do much about it now!

I think the problem was 'too many options' the one above which I told them not to order, cause it was going to be priced too high. most true Viper goes dont care about the 37 speaker system, the napa leather, etc. and it just drove the price thru the roof. they also ordered the most common color combo, i figured we'd be sitting on it for a while.

lot of people came and were like "i like it, but its not my first choice"

There's a similar '13 GenV here in NY that a member is currently negotiating with the dealer. The dealer already discounted it $20K. Same color, same issue with too many options. Looks he's going to get a great deal too.

If I could afford it, and was in the market. I'd want a 99k car that I could then take the extra 40k and dump in performance mods, tires and some carbon and still be under the $137k price tag and the car would be more 'me'.

Yes the market is starting to settle out. I am glad that it is where it is and not lower actually, it shows that there are still people out there ready to plunk down a sizable amount of money for a great car.
