ACE E Wing from performancespeedshop com

Just got my wing after 2.5 Months Production.
Packed very well and quality thus far looks like a 5/5. I also have Splitter and Rear Diffuser from Extreme and quality looks similar. Only bummer is no mounting plate. If anyone has any tips with mounting/drilling/location of the wing i'd appreciate.

Next to install it on my 2013 SRT that is getting the full ACR-E Treatment.

PerformanceSpeedshop.com has removed the listing but will take orders for later delivery since they are custom. You have to message them directly. Cost was just over 5K.

Nice, should have mine next month. They did raise the price since you ordered, but it's still a good deal considering the alternatives.

    This.
And also be SURE to the get rubber landing pad things for your trunk lid. I have a wing that makes much less downforce and I was nervous about it. I posted the part number somewhere. Really hard to find.

Say more. There's a rubber bit under the mount?

Edit: Nevermind, I know what you are talking about. The pads on the back corners of the decklid. I have them already since my car is a TA2.0.

Did you happen to weigh all these parts?

I'll be happy to weigh each part when mine comes in, but when I talked to the owner of the company he said it is 2+lbs lighter than OEM, most of which he said is in the stanchions.

What are the weights of the OEM pieces for reference?

How does this wing compared to the one on Doug Shelby Engineering website that is $15k. I want a wing but not paying $15k.

I can’t compare since I only have this one. But oem replica - like exact.

Can you post pics of the install with the carbon backing brace you mentioned.

Finally got my ACRE wing. Weights as promised:

    Right end plate: 12.3 oz
    Left end plate: 12.7 oz
    Right upright: 10.5 oz
    Left upright: 10.2 oz
    Wing: 9 lb 7.1 oz

    That's 12.3 lbs for everything.

This is a lot lighter than OEM. The OEM wing weighs 12lbs 4 ounces alone

returned my wing. It is very lightweight. Not multi-ply carbon layers. This wing will not hold up to track use. The stanchions are hollow with about 1/4 of threads in a nutcert. Looks dangerous. Ordered the real thing from Wayne.

That's disappointing. Kind of a weird place to save money. Another two layers of carbon wouldn't cost much. It's all in the labor and tooling.

He’s been making these for several years. Has anyone heard of a failure?
