Lol what? Straight up? Is there an insane mileage discrepancy?

    10k miles

Hard to say - is it a factory fresh Demon that is in desirable configuration and is the Gen V a "run of the mill" car? If it's a brand new Demon, and a well used Gen V, it might be a good trade. Or, if it's a used Demon and a very lightly used Gen V, not such a good trade.

Only you know the correct answer deep down. 99% will say you are crazy because the viper wins hands down but you have to live with it. If you can’t enjoy it and can’t afford to add cars to your stable, what’s the point? Life is short. Get something you can enjoy. You were fortunate enough to experience the snake - many don’t.

Note: in no way am I saying to trade for it str8 up lol. My advice was based on fair market value type deal

New GT500. I bought a new 21 a few weeks ago and its amazing. You get a dual clutch transmission so its easy to drive and beats a regular auto by far. It will out handle any Challenger and most other sports cars. They're surprisingly rare and unique. Possible future collectible, 22 is the last year for it. If you want to mod it, you can make 850-900 rwhp easy. In stock form it runs mid 10s at over 130, so faster than a gen 5 viper. Now from a roll, I think my viper could hang with it for a while but eventually the GT500 would pull away. Cant beat the performance of one for a sticker starting out at 80K. Now dealer markups will affect that of course.

Just for reference, I've raced three different ones now from a roll at the track. 40 and 60 rolls up to 150ish. I only lost two, one because he jumped and the other I missed 3rd. On paper and what I saw in magazines say the gt500 should have pulled but my stock viper also usually traps 131-132 in crappy air. So honestly I'd say drivers race from a roll

+1 on the GT500. Get that flat plane crank. The exhaust note is A.M.A.Z.I.N.G.

I rolled a Tesla. Don't know exactly which model it was. We were neck-n-neck for a short spell before I started to pull away. Then he lifted off.
Smart on his part considering he'd eventually need to stop 6000+lbs. !!

Subjective. I think they sound terrible. Way too raspy.

As for sound, give me an old school Fox 5.0 with a set of Flowmasters.

I'm not a Mustang nerd by any stretch, but I think the GT350 is the NA 8250rpm FPC and the GT500 is the supercharged 7500rpm, CPC. Both are 5.2L, but not sure if they're similar engines.

You are correct. The GT350 used the flat plane crank, like the upcoming Z06, and the GT500 uses a conventional cross plane crank. Both have 5.2 liters and the GT500 has the beefed up forged internals for a supercharged application.

    Me neither. Obviously
Regardless, IMHO they both sound fantastic.

Thanks guys for correcting the record.

Fingers crossed the FPC will fix the exhaust note in the C8 Z06. But if anybody could screw it up, leave it up to GM to find a way.

Aspman. go on BAT and see the results, plenty Demon's sold in the past 6 months. Like Vipers, mileage and colors drive prices up or down. Get a sense of what the price of the Demon you want is going for, then compare to what you G5 is worth. Good luck!! Mike

I follow BaT...I see most Demons very low miles most really driven very little ...all close in price 145 seems average.Think they were bought just in hopes they went crazy up.They have gone up but not sure they have the viper potential going forward. So value on mine is a moving target.not sure where to start as dont see many stryker cars to compare to lately'..its one of the most disliked topics on VOA

Actually thought about trolling mine through BaT with a reserve.

I’d love a Demon, but wouldn’t trade my Viper on one. Nope, plus the SS is out there brand new now. Who needs a Demon?

Auto swap would be to put in maybe the ZF8 automatic in it.
