Another Gen 5 CONVERT!!!! (Laughing Maniacally)!!!!!!!!!!!!! The world is going to end FOR SURE! Congrats Flatout! Bernie you are the man!

I have to explain. I have never had another car enthusiast ever make nasty comments about any of our cars. At a local car meet I had a former Gen 3 Viper owner basically tell my husband what a piece of shit we bought. I bought a fully loaded GTS. The guy was obviously an ass. But what is it with Viper owners hating on the Gen 5?

Thanks guys, I love my ACR and the TA won't beat it around the ring but the TA is extremely capable and updated. The car should be much more livable than an ACR on the street.

    Can't wait to get it.

Just make sure you get the laguna leather and you can even sleep nude in it

Congrats on the TA. We just bought our 09 SSG ACR from Bernie. Good people right there.

Congrats man, from one beautiful ACR to that sinister looking TA! Both cars are awesome. The interior on those GenV's is just gorgeous though!

Yes I am really looking forward to the summer events. I am hoping to take delivery this Thursday. I am trading in my FGT and Grand Sport Vette so I have to get those up to Tomball, and the new owner of my ACR is picking the car up on Wednesday so it should be a busy week.

Yeah I have another kid on the way, and keeping up with all three cars at the level I expect was becoming a handful. It will be nice to be back to one car again.

Thanks John! I'll get the car this week but I will be out of town all next weekend. We'll get together when I get back for some cigars and Vipers.

You must have had some sort of a religous experience when you saw that black TA! Two weeks ago you just wanted to stop criticizing the Gen V, and the next word is you're selling an entire collection of 3 spectacular cars (well, 2 really ) just to have one TA??? Next member I see trashing the Gen V or TA is going to be referred to this thread!

Yes and no, the Gen IV ACR is still a faster car on the big speed tracks (verified again this weekend by our GT3R lead driver), but I feel like the TA does as well or better on the smaller and mid sized circuits like Leguna, and is a more live able road car.

Honestly the Gen IV interior just started feeling very dated and the styling, interior, and overall package of the TA was just too much to pass up after seeing it in person a few times. The gen V in black just looks so sinister, it has that bad ass Viper presence that I have always been attracted too.

Should have it by the end of the week and I will make sure and bring it out to Troys for the Crawfish boil on the beach (weather permitting)

I would drive it straight from Tomball, to the nearest clear-bra installer of your choice. Otherwise, that black paint won't last long.

LOL you forget my Corvette Detailing background. But I do agree with you I am trying to put together the best setup to keep it looking good, which does include clear bra and a new nano coating.
