Where Many of Us Found Our Car Passion

    HOT WHEELS!

I always like handing out toy cars I keep in the trunk to kids. The excitement and smile on their face is so worth it

I have been giving out "Hot Wheels" Vipers at track and car-show events for decades. And tons as customer "DooDads" over the decades too.

Despite what you may have heard elsewhere, Quick-Books keeps a good handle on small-business expenses and inventories. I can document purchases of over 7000 mini-Vipers so far. All are Tax-deductible for me.

My favorite Hot-Wheels factoid happened a year or two ago: A 10-year old boy got a hot-wheels from me at PIR 15+ years ago, and his dad took a pix in my Viper.

Recently, he called to order a Front Plate Bracket because he finally purchased his dream-car! In his late 20s...

His passion began with that brief HW encounter waaaay back.

    Feeling Old.............. JonB~~~~:<~

I had a very similar experience with you, about 20 years ago. After my first post on the VCA forum at age 14, you asked for my address. Shortly thereafter, a red Viper shirt arrived with a matching keychain. I was blown away. All of these years later and finally a Viper owner, I'm proud to be a frequent customer. And of course still have both items! Certainly something I'll never forget

Matchbox Vipers were rare..in little yellow-red boxes. Hard to find, but we did give away hundreds. Still have a few. Then copycat Hotwheels, Maistos, etc.
