You had a chance to buy that and passed on it?

Eugh, what happened to that poor snake? On one hand I'm really intrigued by the creativity (I mean I like the idea of having that plexiglass portion of the hood like on the C6 ZR1) but the rest of me is horrified by the execution and general... nightmare-ishness of this Viper.

I'm so tempted to move this thread into the "your other rides" section.

“Off Topic” would describe it better!

Saw that car several years ago at an event and talked to the owner. As usual there is a story and it should help quiet some derision on the car. The car was wrecked hard and totaled, I forget details but likely rear-ended. The guy that rebuilt it did so as a way to save the car with methods that were within his financial and mechanical means, hence an unusual end result that provided a fair amount of satisfaction to the original rebuilder. You have to remember that body parts for these cars have always been a fun combination of hard to find and expensive. Yes, it is "unique" and "interesting", but it wasn't shipped off to the junk yard either.

This car has died a death twice, one when it was wreaked, and one when it was rebuilt

Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should!

Does it even have any rear crash structure left?
