FWIW, when I was in college in 1993, I went cross border through Windsor, Ontario to pick up a 1-of-21 Kawasaki ZX-7RR homologation special street legal racebike. I went through hell to find it, kiss enough ass to be able to acquire it, bust my hump to line up the financing, and learn the import process for DOT/EPA (spoiler: hire an import broker), get it registered in the US, etc., etc. It was my baby -- it was awesome to look at, bristling with tech, and I was comfortable and fast on it. I raced it for a year and sold it. Worst decision ever and I knew it at the time.
I also know this, right now... at this time --- if you have a Gen V that you love (and especially if you have an ACR), do not ever sell it.
