Post your interior upgrades

Hey guys

Really falling in love with my viper, thought it was the worst riding car I ever drove in on day one, now I don't want to drive anything but the viper.

Anyways I've done a few things to my car now and considering putting some money into the interior.

Door panels, console , arm rest , carpets etc...

Would love to see some photos of other upgrades for inspiration.

Pls post Any photos up whether they are yours or not

Also if anyone knows a link or DIY on getting the door panels off that would be great , I work a bit with leather I think I could do a half decent job 8f I could just get the panels off .

Best thing I've done to my interior by far was installing a double DIN head unit:



It's also about the only thing I've done, along with LED lighting throughout. I guess I also did the MGW 4-gauge trim rings now that I'm looking at that pic.

About the only other thing I'm considering at this point is redoing the steering wheel.

I added a Gen 5 wheel and had the dash and console painted to match the door pulls. I would have to say the Gen 5 Steering wheel is with out the best mod i have done to this car.DSCN0603.jpg

I was planning on pulling abd painting my console and dash in high gloss black bit I think wrap will be much easier

Yes, it is a textured carbon vinyl wrap. It was the first time I've ever wrapped anything, and I've been VERY pleased with how it came out and how it is holding up. It doesn't attract dust or fingerprints, which is more important than most might think.

I started calling around upholstery shops now too, the seats are a must if you want to update the look of the car

$450 is such a good price, if I could pay double that I'd be happy.

I may actually try to do a real carbon fiber overlay on my console

I have fiberglass experience so I'm hoping I can pull it off

I believe all you have to do is file out a little bit on on one spot on the inside of the wheel and your good to go.

Lovin it! It’s nice to see other people change up their interior. I have had mine for over 6 years now and it took about 5 years of not liking the interior to finally pull the trigger. I have always loved vipers but never cared for the interior much. Now that I seen the chrome rings for the gauges on yours, was thinking maybe adding them to mine as well… would it be too much or a the final touch?

Those A/C Bezels...these were not in the Viper Store, but are they from another brand (re: of car) or do you remember where you procured these...?

Just ANOTHER detail that pulls the whole look of your interior together.
