Did the GTS come with an antenna embedded in the windshield like the RT?

Yes, small wire from antenna connects under the front cowl LHS of car.

As I suspected.
Previous owner replaced the windshield and the new one doesn't have the wire. Reception is terrible.
Maybe if I get one of those rubber ones and a base and bury it up under the dash.

I'm using this one posted below and it's working OK. Not great but better than nothing and better than my windshield antenna (mine doesn't work as good as most others for some reason). I mounted it at the top of the rear hatch window and put the wires under the interior panels/carpet. Came out pretty clean.
