I used good epoxy and bought my own flakes and haven't had a problem with it at all. Cost about $500 in materials. Very easy to do too. I pressure washed the shit out of the floor, then poured a bunch of degreaser concentrate on the floor and let it sit and pressure washed that out. I did it over and over on heavy oil spots (mine had a lot, previous owner spilled a lot of oil). Then poured concrete etcher. No problems yet, knock on wood.
After prep, it took about 2.5 hours to pour it all. 5 gallon bucket and squirrel mixer make it go super easy. Then just squeegee it around and it self levels anyway. Then add flake. Then you add the poly coating.
