    Help w Exhaust

    Hey guys

trying to take my muffler back section off but is seemingly stuck. The six bolts have been loosened and taken off but problem appears to be getting it to slide off (towards rear of vehicle). Any suggestions?

    thanks,
    f

Liquid Wrench to soak the slip joints. Can take HOURS or even DAYS to work.

A large rubber mallet to TAP on the joints to loosen them as well as the muffler to move it rearward.

But mostly, after applying the others, patience.

OR, just cut it off with a Sawzall.

Once removed what's the plan....or better yet why are you removing? If to "upgrade", just cut it all off vs wasting alot of time. If you plan on reinstalling, then you will need to heed Dave's advice. They are worth nothing. My OEM set went to the dump after sitting in the garage for years.
