What size stainless mesh for the front facia Radiator screen?

Stainless 5 wire mesh, 10 wire?

A US Standard #5 stainless mesh has a 4mm square opening. A #10 mesh is only 2mm. I'd recommend the #5 at a minimum.

#4 mesh (4.75mm or just over 3/16") is an extremely common standard opening. 10 mesh is also very common. If you can find #5, it will be either a custom order at high price, or you may get it on a closeout deal because nobody buys it and they are trying to clear inventory. Above the #4, you will find screen openings in 1/16", then 1/8" opening increments. Wire diameter becomes a consideration based on expected duty and wear.

Opening selection for racing depends on these main variables:
Are rocks, pebbles and racecar debris your main concern? Go with bigger openings.
Is fine sand plugging your fins? Go with smaller openings, but the fine mesh can cause airflow restrictions.
