Gen 4 hood installed on Gen 3

Finished up my Gen 4 hood install on my Gen 3.

I had a damaged Gen 4 hood that needs some repairs and modifications to fit on the car with the turbo kit. OEM hood fit perfect. The paint came out perfect.

Those on the fence about swapping hoods, This transforms the whole car. Also gets rid of the heat you get from the Gen 3 vents through the windows when they are down.

I can def feel the heat with the windows down on my Gen IV, but I have no idea how it compares to the III.
Either the way, yes the IV hood looks so much better, the III hoods just look dated and bubbly to me.

My Gen III hood DUMPED heat into the cabin. The Gen IV style hood on it fixed a lot that. If you do a lot of summer cruising, the Gen IV hood is a big win in the heat department.

The heat change is worth the cost to change hoods. So much heat works it way into the cabin with the gen 3 hood its unreal. Also not sure if anyone noticed, my passenger side stripe was off about 1/16 of an inch to the left from the factory. We laser lined these so they are perfectly aligned.

Sure, I saw that 1/16 of an inch that the stripe was off. It made the car look BAD....LOL. JK. Your car looks great with the new hood. Nice job.
