NY/CT: Special SRT Guest Luncheon @ Plataforma & NYC Auto Show 4/19

Had a great time meeting everyone including Ralph and Doris who are 2 of the coolest people I've ever met. Looking forward to seeing everyone a lot more often going forward at future events and at getting to know all of you guys better. Definitely a nice group we have here. Thanks to everyone who put this together today. Meeting Ralph was something I won't soon forget.....and I probably won't be able to eat steak for weeks after today's feast!!!

We had 40 people turn out and we picked up a few more at the auto show. It was a great day, great people and great food. Big thanks to Ralph and Doris for hanging out with us. The food....I won't be hungry for a week or two at least. Plataforma, as always, treated us well.

Not that he would answer you, he'd probably just wink and say something suggestive like he did when i asked him about unlocking the pcm for the gen4 and 5 during the reveal 2 years ago. Ralph is a great guy, we all like him, I just hope he can rescue the viper before the vette putts in the final nail in the coffin!

We asked Ralph a number of questions. It's not like we held him down and forced answers out of him or anything. He shared one thing with us which was more dyno sheets, similar to ones he recently tweeted. The ones I saw had higher hp/tq numbers than what was tweeted. He was excited about this. If I were to guess, it's the new PCM for then GenV. But I think we'll find out in less than a month. I'm certain Ralph wants to share other details but simply cannot at this time. I heard a story whereby an SRT employee leaked out details around the 'hellcat' engine and was subsequently fired. They take this stuff seriously so we weren't going to push Ralph into answering questions he'd get in trouble over.

The day was about spending time with Ralph and sharing stories. He's a down to earth car guy, very humble and was appreciative for the turnout. He signed everything and took as many pics as people asked for. In all I think it was successful day.

What a day..it was outstanding. Spending time with our NY/CT friends, enjoying an incredible meal and meeting two of the most gracious people, Ralph and Doris...what a great way to kick off the 2014 Viper season!!! A special thanks to all who put this shindig together! Kerrie and I look forward to seeing everyone soon.

Was a great day! I eat every few hours normally, but also didn't eat for the rest of the day.
