Oh, okay... Strange that your post last night listed you as a "Registered User" instead of a "Member". That threw me off.

Okay guys / gals, I think we're going to shoot to arrive in Rockingham around 10:30am. Therefore, for the Raleigh crew, we will meet for the caravan around 8:15am and leave promptly at 8:30am. Our caravan meeting location for the Raleigh crew will be the same location we met for Biltmore last year. Folks can gas up, check tire pressure, etc.

I'm pretty much equidistant between the Raleigh caravan and the Charlotte one. To meet with either is a 2-3 hour roundtrip extra drive. Anyone in the Winston/Greensboro/Asheboro corridor heading 220 south to Rockingham?

My daughter has a soccer tournament that weekend, so she will have 5 games across Saturday and Sunday.

I've got an email out to the Charlotte zone. For anyone in the Charlotte zone who didn't see my email but are interested in meeting up for a caravan, let me know. Our meeting spot may be dependent on who is interested in meeting up - from this area, there are quite a few ways that we could go.

let me know patrick, My GPS showed it going through I85, then 485, and then some other one but it got almost to charlotte and take 485 at exit 30( right before the airport, then 74 all the way down there.

Yep, that's how I figured you'd be going. I've never had much fun going down 74 through Monroe and all that, seems like it's just stoplight to stoplight, but I don't know a better way to tell you to go. I'll know for sure by tomorrow if I'm coming down to the south of Charlotte to go over to Rockingham on the route you listed or if I'm going east on I40 (way north of Charlotte). I'm going to PM you my phone number and email address if you don't already have those.

Those of you going to the "ROCK" hope you guys have a great day looks like perfect weather...and for those who are going to do the 1/4 mile be careful (watch out for the other guy) and post the results. Wish we could go, but I promised a local car club I would support their "Critter & Car" show here in our small town. I think I'm the only owner of a Viper or at least the only one who drives one. Again, HAVE FUN BE SAFE & Post those 1/4 results.
