MOPARS AT THE ROCK!!! - April 12, 2014

The 23rd annual "Mopars at the Rock" is scheduled for Saturday, April 12th in Rockingham, NC which is a great location for both North & South Carolina VOA members. Bring your Viper out to experience this annual car show, drag event, and swap meet exclusive to MOPARS!!! The gates open at 8:00am on Saturday morning. We are trying to determine how many members will be attending as the event planners have agreed to designate an area specifically for Vipers. We will also arrange caravans for Saturday morning. We won the club participation award last year! Let's do it again! Who can join us?

Yep I'll be there, looks like the Mopar event is the only event that day unlike last year so maybe it will be better, still don't know why they open at 8am.

Angel, me too! I didn't even realize that until we had the wheels off at our maintenance day - damn near slick on the inner side! I hope to order tires this week and have them on before Rockingham..

Call JonB @ Partsrack. Just ordered me a set today. If you order tomorrow, can probably be to your door by Friday or Monday at the latest. Then, just head to Discount Tire for mounting / balancing. Should be doable before the 12th, but I would order ASAP.

The Aleve helps, but the psychological impact doesn't impress my doctor, and he scoffs at me. Jezz! How much does he get from my insurance company for a little compassion???? Okay, back on track... Rockingham on the 12th - ALRIGHT!!!

I want to go to this! Having a barn delivered that Saturday...maybe I can move that up a day or push it back a couple days...... Dad would probably bring his Prowler too.

Do they allow fun runs at this event?

Yes, the strip is open for runs. We had several guys take advantage of this last year. That would be great if you could go....and your dad too.

Sorry Guys , Tires wont be here until the week after so i won't be able to make it, I hate to miss it since i had so much fun last year, plus i wanted to try the car with the upgrades!!, anyway if anything changes i'll let you guys know. !! have a fun one.

I just ordered a full set of tires from JonB on Monday and received them yesterday (Wednesday)....2 days! Maybe you should call JonB.

I know, but i found a set of SS mounted and balanced( only used for about 200 miles) for$900, and after buying tires formy jeep ($1,300), plane tickets for my family(1,200), and the other goodies i bought for the car ($5,000), i'm going to have to wait for those, lol, hopefully i'll have them theweek after the rock, so i 'll be ready for the other events, i might drop there in the jeep anyway( want to see how good is she doing in the1/4. ;-)

Completely understand Angel. I'm just giving you a hard time... Maybe we'll see you in the Jeep and if not, the Wilmington run on May 3rd!
