Ah, Give them a call, I'm betting they would be willing to sell you one.

I emailed Flowkooler about having my water pump rebuilt. Unfortunately they are not doing it at the moment. Here’s the email they sent me:

“ I am sorry to say that we are no longer able to provide this service. Our re-builder is unable to provide reliable, prompt service. Please check back at a later date as we are looking for a replacement.”

Well, that's good and bad news.

Good news - The person I kept speaking too sounded authentic but after a couple months of "should be ready next week" I started to think I was getting a line of BS. Sounds like she was authentic so now I kind of feel bad for being such a PITA. Good news is if that is the case they may be a more reputable company than I was starting to think.

Bad news - Sounds like no new rebuilds for a while until they figure out their staffing issues. At least some new Mopar units are now in stock at parts rack.

As a quick follow-up. The car is running great so far. I've run it through a handful of heat cycles and during those processes I didn't see the car ever get past the almost straight up on the gauge (190-200 range). Before, I was constantly seeing it get to the 225-230 area on the regular in traffic and even some while cruising. Outside temps were only in the low 90's with real high humidity but the pump seems to be doing the job now. I think my cooling improvements are more along the lines of the MOPAR thermostat going back in and getting my radiator sorted out (fingers crossed it last this time) but the pump is doing what it was designed to do so I'm happy there.
