At Carl Burgers Dodge they had internet pricing offering over $20,000 off Vipers already. Believe that everything in their stock is marked down pretty aggressively.

The 13 Gts I believe was $23,000 off with lesser discounts on less expensive models. They had a beautiful white SRT, a Red GTS, a Launch Edition and metalic black in their showroom.

I have heard from lots of people that they are getting great deals all over the place from dealers wanting to make room for the next wave of deliveries. Super popular TA's are also being discounted, and they are fantastic cars.

Then I must be the unluckiest guy in the world. I've reached out to a number of dealers in the last week regarding discounts and many of them are sticking with crappy discounts no better than 4%. I have a couple of leads on SRTs but nothing like I thought.

Dealers are reluctant to offer heavy discounts to shoppers.

Often best deal is to make your offer, then go home and wait till the phone rings.

Some dealers are high volume oriented, and they are willing to take less profit on each deal. Others are high profit oriented. They will make more on each car, but sell less volume.

There is a little over 5000 dollars in rebates!!! Kinda. Only 2013 models. And you have to have an employee number. The deal started feb 6 and runs though April 30th. Otherwise there was nothing listed about dealer cash or any other type of rebates.

If you are wanting a Gen V, go out and make your own deal, don't wait for a "possible" discount. Make one happen with some negotiation.

But if you are looking for a 2013, the remaining options are either: (a) red, (b) gts, or (c) stripes. There are no more than a handful available otherwise. So if you want a non-red, non-stripes base model, you won't find much in 2013.

I asked a friend to do a dealer locate for all new 2013 viper srt. There were less the 20 that showed up on chryslers locate search. I am not sure why it happened like that. Might be more gts models out there I guess. But there were not a lot of base ones left.
