Word on the Street is Gen V will be getting some kind of a rebate starting tuesday...

Was at the local dealer here today and ive been in and out of there for about 6 months or so talking with them about a gen V. But still think its a bit more than im looking to spend.
But however he did mention that starting this Tuesday SRT will be offering some kind of special rebate...?

He is not sure what but he is thinking 60m 0% interest which is pretty sweet. Or some kinda of a special lease program...
Anyone else hear anything about this?

The sky is falling. They're going to give them away.

They may make some sort of push before they make whatever the 2015 announcement is in April. Considering they've mentioned the new announcement will be "interesting" that could mean something big like a vert or a HP bump or something that'll take even more attention off current inventory. Or both could be just a rumor. Lol

Im hoping its for the convertible or ...............ACR. Fingers crossed.

It'll be a new color and special edition. Lol.

They can't even make custom orders when the factory is open. How the hell will they do it with it closed?

Seriously, why limit it to either a vert or ACR? Make both! Corvette has coupe/targa, convertible and now Z06 models listed; and 90% of them have sold labels on them. Making both viper models same time is my vote. Then if the C7 in a year or so pulls an unexpected ZR1 production, do a special version car like an ACR-X only street legal to compete with it!

There have only been around 3000 ACR made in total, not sure why people think it will be a sales grand slam - compared to nearly 18,000 Verts produced in total - the sales choice is abundantly clear.

I wouldn't doubt incentives rolling out in April, coupled with plant losing it would crank out a lot of cars sitting on lots. If I were Chrysler that is what id be doing.

I wasn't saying it would be a Sales grand slam on the ACR. The vert would deff help sales IMO. What I guess I should have said was it sure would be "NICE" to see the ACR being built.

What a disaster. I'm embarrassed for them.

This was just done for promotional purposes and all of our Gen V's are kept inside, just FYI.

I would support what they can do to move some inventory and get more butts in seats! Took delivery of mine Friday and have only put about 40 miles on it around town but I absolutely love it. Favorite Viper I've owned yet - can't wait to spend the Summer breaking her in... I have NOTHING negative to report so far - no regrets going from my '01 ACR whatsoever.

Picked mine up on Friday as well, but put 800+ miles on it driving home

0% interest would be really good incentive for a lot of people... The Gen V is really amazing, couple that with free money... Its hard not to see people buying them

You can get less than 2% already from numerous sources. 0% only drops the payment around $70 a month on a $100K loan. Not likely to be enough incentive to move 700 unsold units. Now a $20K dealer cash incentive- that's a different story.

That is true good point. Ive got a local credit union that does 1.49% on a 60m auto loan. So it would have to be like 0% on 72-84m loan or more likely im thinking the 20k dealer incentive cash would be ideal to get those cars moving.

Yeah something like that plus a halfway decent trade in for my Gen3 and I basically couldn't afford not to get a Gen5.

Same thoughts here regarding my 06 coupe.
