Correct that is one of the first things that tipped me off. No carbon fiber brace which I thought was just a glare in the video that I could not see the actual carbon fiber. They painted the viper logo orange on the brace to make it look more custom though! haha

Wouldn't surprise me if the X-brace was eventually swapped out for cash profit, or the way the car was hit it could have been cracked and replaced later. In any case, it shouldn't be too hard to figure out. There should be evidence "behind the scenes" of a blue door (passenger), a white rear fender, or a yellow side sill.

Given the detail on the accident this car was in and pics of the aftermath, every body part must be from a different car. All the evidence OP needs is in the other thread to take appropriate actions.

I think we determined in another thread this wasn't the car in the accident. That car was parted out. So this car may have pieces of it, and a VIN that matches another car on the road right now

Their car was a legit TA (33) with a paper trail of ownership. This car is a cobbled together mess

Wondering the car was indeed under water from say a hurricane for awhile could cause this to weaken the paint etc?

Not in my experience, but that's limited to fresh (river) water flooding.

If this was from a storm surge (salty), things might be different, but I still wouldn't think you'd see paint damage from flooding - that's purely speculative on my part though.
