New Owner 1996 GTS 9700 miles Dashboard question

    Hi everyone,

I just bought a 1996 GTS. It was one owner with 9700 miles. Overall excellent condition. I just have a question regarding the dashboard. I know these were known for having dashboards with material that scratch easily. This one does have a few marks on it. I was wondering if any of you had any suggestions of what is a good product to use to clean the dash? I don't want to use the wrong product and make it worse. Thank you!

The less you touch a 96 dash the better. Personally I would never put anything on it. How bad are the marks? I would first try to lightly dust with a clean dry Microfiber with again, nothing on it.

Thank you! This helps a lot. The marks look like they tried to use a product on the dash and then saw that it left a mark so they stopped. I will try to dust with a clean microfiber as your suggested. If that doesn't work any other tips? Thanks again.

The only thing left would be to use a little water on the microfiber and lightly blot the affected area (don't drag the cloth). if that doesn't work, I would leave it alone to see if in time it naturally disappears.
    Hope that helps.

Thank you this definitely helps. The car got picked up yesterday so I hope to have it delivered to me tomorrow. I will try these tips and then if those don't work I will just leave it alone. I appreciate all of your feedback!
