I like this color quite a bit in these sunlight pics. I could imagine a T/A in this color for sure. Add some T/A Orange SRT stripes that are outlined in a thin black pinstripe. Orange calipers, orange emblems and lowered on the black T/A wheels.

I think we are getting confused by two different color discussions:

Title of thread is about Competition Blue and Bill's response is accurate for that color.

Prior, it was about GTS Blue which is specific to 2013 in Launch Edition and I think some solid colored cars which were only GTS's. Personally, ok with that and would have preferred to only be the LE car as for what it stands for, but just me.

Can definitely verify that this color was done in an SRT as we have two Comp Blue Snakes coming ( one completely built ) , and both are SRTs. The choice was up to the Dealer, and since it was a limited color, most Dealers went with a GTS. There will be very, very few done this year !!!!

That color will look fantastic with an SRT hood! How are yours optioned? Any of them have the new Grand Touring package with the two stage suspension?

Just another stupid decision on SRT's part. Take the most popular Viper color that people associate with Vipers, and limit which cars can be painted that color. If I were SRT, I'd unlock any of the colors and stripe combos on any car built. Sell people what they want, novel concept!

I have to agree. The two model approach always baffled me. The '96 was a GTS and it was barebones. Nothing wrong with just calling this car a GTS and let people build it how they want.

Making any color with any stripe option etc, according to the customers needs would make sense.

The only thing I would disagree with is, to at least respect a few of the Color combos and leave them exclusive to some of the limited models. TA Orange, BTS blue should only be available for the LE GTS period and the SSG should only be offered in limited quantities.

I'd like to see an SRT with the CF goodies on this Blue in person. I've liked similar blues on other cars...not sure just yet how I feel about it on the Viper.

Only have one left and by the way the GT package was not offered in this color. The one incoming has black leather, Hyper Black Sidewinder rims and that is it. Wanted to order one on the lower end of the spectrum as heard many were going in as GTSs.

I'm not a huge fan of blue, but I do like the shadow dark blue they have and I like the GTS blue. Now, the comp blue, eh, looks like th blue Ford used on mustangs recently, which to me is, um, barf, excuse me. But that's why they make so, so, so, so, so many colors now.

somone should photoshop a comp blue with cf areo,blackvapor sidewinders,lowered with white or black stripes.......
