    There should be three #11s , as each one is assigned to a color. We did 5-6 in blue, and I seem to remember one being number 11?

    I guess from the list and confirmation of 3 different #11 cars (1 in each color), I am going to make some conclusions,

    1) Seems like there were 26 TA1’s made after the initial batch in 2014. Honestly, from how rare it is for a post 2014 to come up for sale, I am going to guess that they didn’t number each color seperately and just numbered them in series. Mine being 26. Donk’s Custom TA1 still has me scratching my head with this theory because I don’t know why his car is number 20 while Pete.best’s y’orange TA is also 20. I don’t think Pete.best used the 1of1 program. I really don’t see there being 20 y’orange TA1’s?

    2) Seems like TA2’s were numbered in sequence based on color. Since the car wasn’t built at the same time like the TA1, I think the numbering just continued forward beyond 2015. Run was for 33 of each color? Not sure they even made that many of each color but the few numbers we have, the theory makes sense.

    Doesn’t someone have a master production list by now?

    I’m sticking with my theory where a Dodge intern was put in charge of the numbering spreadsheet and they didn’t save it once or twice and it caused the dupes. I wish whoever at Dodge knows would just come clean.

    I think they're talking about the original TA. Not sure if the TA 2.0 are numbered vin with a number on the dash. Also, the original TA has a decklid spoiler. So when collecting the 11's it'd have to be the original all from 2014.

    Anything beyond 2014 is not matching vin because they were all built based on customer order. All TA’s are numbered on the dash. I’m not following your comment on the necessity for a deck lid spoiler. You are right that there are three #11 2014 TAs (black, orange, and white). But the comment you quoted has confirmed that there are also 3 #11 TA2 cars as well, one in each color. I’m just not sure if they are the same year due to a lack of repeating dash numbers for TA2’s. Seem to be sequential and continue from year to year. Probably because they never even cracked their “limited” run number at 33 if I remember right.

    Its not necessity, 2.0 = racer wing (not as big as ACR-E), 1.0 = decklid spoiler. Basically someone collecting 2014 TAs would would not look at a 2.0. If someone is out there collecting TA 2.0 kudos to them.

    Also, I have never heard of a TA 2.0 in orange TA paint. Anything after 2014 thats a TA, painted orange, was y'orange. Id love to see an OTA viper for 2015-2017. I know about the 10 built Orange TA/ACR.

    The run for 33 was set only in 2014, and there was not set number for each year after that - TA 1.0s or TA 2.0s. Folks often forget that cars built for Canadian production were not numbered in sequence with Vipers sold in the US. My apologies, Serpent, but alluding that a TA 2.0 does not merit collecting is forgetting the years and years of data showing many cars that were not considered highly collectible at the time , are worth mega bucks now. There are very, very few TA 2.0s actually out there, so logic will suggest that years into the future collectors who may want one will be searching a very small gene pool.

    Folks on the Forum often brought up the 33 number set for years after 2014, but that was never a condition done by Dodge. If interest had been high enough then , theoretically , there could have been 50 built per color. There was plenty of discussion , and the die was set for TAs moving forward being sold only if ordered --- some folks chimed in as initially the later cars were not even going to be numbered , but we prevailed.

    TA 2.0s also have dive plains and those , along with the rear wing , were designed and engineered based on Dodge Wind Tunnel testing.

    You are quite welcome , but many of us who have been active in the Viper World still find this Forum as a wealth of information that we can all learn from. I know that most of us learn things we are unaware of just by participating and belonging to VOA -- part of the reason I actively ask enthusiasts like yourself to join our Merry Band, because we need the Club to survive far into the future, so all of us have the benefit of tech knowledge , resources for parts, innovation from suppliers, etc. Staying vibrant means we all have to support the Club , and frankly it is a lot for our own selfish needs. Passionate group of SnakeCharmers , here, and hope you consider joining with us in the future as noted you have had the illness for a long time, with 3 Snakes?

    Interesting that TA 2.0 was so close in time to the ACR introduction that TA 2.0 stats are pretty much unavailable (and is also likely why sales were less). Like the rear wing generates 400 lb of downforce at 150 mph without increasing drag versus TA 1.

    Some truth to that comment , though the TA 2.0 came out in 2015, but there is no doubt it slowed down Sales from 2016 on. The difference is the One of One Program kept the TA concept very fresh , as there were a lot of TA1 and TA2 Option Groups sold to folks wanting custom colors, interiors, etc. , but the same basic DNA as the numbered models.

    right now not so much. i flew to Baltimore yesterday morning and drove it back to Cincinnati. it was a great roadie, but along the way i think i hit every bug that i possibly could have. im heading outside to wash her up and will post a couple pics asap.

    I bought Orange TA #68 in April of 2017 and I live in Michigan. I thought I posted on this thread when I bought the car but maybe the post wasn't seen. You can update the master list with me owning the car instead of forum user Boba Fett.

    The number 15 indicates that you have the fifteenth YOrange TA2 produced since production began in 2015.

    White TA #15 does not belong to Allans any longer. I owned the car after Allans and I sold it in 2017 and it subsequently was sold and shipped to Canada.
