Nope, won't work due to the solid cam swap, boom goes the dynamite.

There's a possibility, since the Arrow tune for the H/C pkg is loaded onto a stock PCM vs the race PCM, and so actually still has emissions capabilities, that it could pass some tests in some states, but to test that on a $79k bet, I couldn't do it, MD is so strict. I think about sending my car to Andy or Antonio for a winter upgrade vs selling for an ACR to the point of paralysis, lol.

I think the last owner sold to a broker, who knows how that deal went, it was for export and some of those deals are enticing with good money from abroad, then the broker ran into an issue exporting due to emissions (from what I read, most likely due to the VE pkg, maybe no cats or non-compliant hiflows), and the deal probably fell thru, so the broker probably got to keep some deposit chunk of change and didn't care too much about the trade $, just wanted to turn over the cash and move on to another deal. Perfect alignment of the stars for Term02 ... hec, if there wasn't the emissions issue/thing, I'd have called on it myself, great for a trackday car for the money, but MD has the plug-in emissions every 2 years and I can't risk that BS.

I am sorry for the short post; it's late. I did purchase the Viper TA 33/93. The dealership didn't really understand what was under the hood and honestly gave me a ridiculous trade in value that I just couldn't turn down. I spoke to Andy Wheeler over at Tomball on our way down as was suggested and he said that TA was one of the nicest vipers in their shop getting the HC package and that the recalls were most definitely done. Sold. VERY brief impressions:
1. The car doesn't have cats; it's LOUD. I took a 15 second video just idling (it's a pitch black video though) and may upload that or do a better one tomorrow. I do feel cats will be in our future.
2. This car is so incredibly fast. It's like the orange paint dripped onto the Incredible Hulk lurking inside the motor morphologically changing him into an even more insane beast trying to rip off Superman's head and stuff him full of V10 Kryptonite. WOW.
3. First gear is kinda notchy for me. It wants to stall out and I have to overcompensate with gas. I will need to figure this out.
4. I liked my black paint most definitely more (subjective) but I haven't polished this one out yet so the jury is still pending on color.
5. There is no need to upgrade to the 18 speaker setup unless I really tame the exhaust.
6. Expel is decently applied but the paint does need to be corrected.
7. The TA suspension is fantastic; the carbon fiber bits are very very aesthetic as well.
8. I was filmed (not pictured) more than ever in one night of driving with this HC car. People cannot get over the sound of this setup.

This thing is loud fast and beautiful. I didn't get the best of deals when I upgraded into a Gen V as I didn't do my homework. Seems like things balanced out as this appears to be the deal of year for a low 2600 mile TA. I will add much better pictures in the light along with the MEAN sounding HC catless exhaust. I've been out all day, just got home but wanted to keep everyone posted.20160722_000843.jpg

That's insane, I put 1300 miles on mine and only had it 1 week. I dunno what you paid but congrats on the killer deal, I miss my H/C car but my neighbors hated me. About $17k worth of tax lol
