    DSE Seat lower kit help

To anyone who has installed this kit that might be of assistance. I tried installing the 2" seat lower kit in a 2017 ACR viper recently. I'm having a bit of an issue and a couple questions. In the instructions, it explains to remove the seat belt receptacle from the seat and move it to the trans tunnel. Would that mean I'm going to need to drill a hole in the trans tunnel, raise the car and remove the bottom access cover in order to put a nut on the other side of the trans tunnel to hold the bolt going through the belt receptacle? Also, no nut or bolt was provided with the kit correct? Without removing the belt receptacle, I can't get the rear bolt holes to light up, and even with it removed it appears to be quite a task possibly to align the bolt holes and reach behind the seat to tighten the nuts.

Secondly, is the reason for removing this belt receptacle due to the seat not fitting down all the way to mount the seat due to it pushing the seat too far away from the trans tunnel?

Lastly, there was a sensor clipped onto the slide rail of the driver seat that I removed. I'm not sure if this is the sensor to tell the car if I'm sitting in the seat or not, but if it is what do I do with that? It was never mentioned in the instructions that I could see, but can I just leave it behind the seat unattached?

There is a threaded insert in the trans tunnel already behind the carpet so you should be able to locate it and cut the carpet to install the seat belt receptacle with the existing bolt. Yes this needs to be done for clearance in order to lower the seat and yes tightening the rear nuts is not easy due to the minimal clearance. A long socket extension might help.

The sensor is to indicate when the slider is fully forward, it can be tied off and secured to the bracket or wherever convenient.
