96 GTS Door Dome light question

So I have a 96 GTS. Passenger side door activates dome light and key surround green light when opened, but Drivers side does not. I've been looking for a door jamb switch, but can't find one.

What triggers the car to let it know the door is open?

You may have a broken wire in the door jamb area or a malfunctioning switch in the latch. The wire may be yellow.

Door Harness Bundle as noted.... in the hinge area.

Manipulate between thumb and 2 fingers,,,,watch for blinking or response.
