    VRY GTS in Raleigh

Just drove a 2002 GTS in VRY over at Leith Mercedes. Has PS2s, Corsa exhaust (guessing catback, but not sure), 16,040 miles, OEM wheels that are clean. Brake fluid looks dark as does the clutch fluid. It has a MGW shift knob and some other shiny bits from MGW. Overall, nice shape and drove fine. The salesguy I worked with, Paul Reimann, was easy going and an overall nice guy. Air Force vet too. If anyone in Raleigh or thereabouts and looking at a yellow GTS, this seems to be a nice one. His cell is 919.308.9038 if you want to take a look at the Viper.

I keep thinking about getting a GTS. Love the RT/10, and the GTS is a timeless design too, and having a real roof has its advantages. Might want a grey/silver GTS instead of yellow.

Seth and I were talking about this last weekend - he wants an RT in addition to his GTS and I've got an RT and want a GTS to compliment it. You thinking of selling your RT or adding a GTS?

If I found the right GTS, I'd buy it in a flash and then figure out what to do with the RT/10 -- keep or sell. The RT/10 is an amazing ride with the back glass and roof removed. Really nothing else like it. But the GTS is an awesome car in many ways, and surprisingly a lot different feeling than the RT/10. I guess I'm reaching the conclusion that having one of each makes a lot of sense.

A guy named Tony owned that car up in Henderson. He wanted to trade the Viper for my 63 Corvette. I guess he wanted another Benz... Please get another Viper, that would be cool. I would sell me 1996 GTS, Marko will sell his so he can pick up a TA, Brian might sell his GTS. We got some Vipers for you or anyone. I would sell all my cars except the TA.

Interesting about the previous owner...That GTS has had four owners, but a couple of them never put many miles on it. Odd.

That '92 would be an awesome car. I really freaked out when I saw the suspension on Paul's last weekend. Those tubular control arms are so cool looking!

Brian is thinking about selling his 2001 S/C bumble bee...but Patrick's grey RT/10 got me really liking the grey Vipers.

    Ah, man, I need a check-up from the neck-up.

Sorry I have been missing this conversation....completely slipped by me!

I love having both an RT/10 and a GTS. IMO, the RT/10 has a little more of the "raw" roadster feel. Due to it's shape, the RT/10 looks wider than a GTS even though it is not, and love the sports bar. It adds so much to the car's aesthetics....so sexy.

Then there is the GTS...similar looking yet so different with the double bubble roof, diff. rear bodywork, and when you drive, it just feels like a race car. Not to mention, the GTS is just simply beautiful to look at. I can't tell you how many times I just stare at it sitting in the garage.

If you can swing it, and have the space, keep the RT/10 and add a GTS! Then, you'll have the best of both worlds!

Craig, your brain is working just fine. You simply have venom in your blood which is a gradual side-effect of Viper ownership.

Absolutely! I am buying another Viper. Needs to be a 1995 Emerald Green or 1996 McViper with the yellow wheels. That ketchup and mustard look is so ridiculous that I love it!

Definitely unique. I like it....unmistakably a Viper and very few out there. I will keep my eyes peeled. How about a McViper license plate?
