    IN/KY VOA...Meeting April 12, 2014...NEW Plan, NEW Location...Brown County, IN...

As you know from the communication sent 3/22/14, we have canceled the events in Louisville, KY originally planned for April 12, 2014.

Thanks to the suggestion (and efforts!!!) member Scott Travelstead, we have decided to hold our April 12, 2014 meeting at the Brown County Inn in scenic (and historic) Nashville, Indiana. The Inn is located on the southeast corner of the intersection of Indiana State Road 46 and Indiana State Road 135. See map link:
    http://www.browncountyinn.com/conten...ing-directions

At present, several Members plan to gather at the Indy Northside Cars & Coffee held every Saturday at 9600 North Meridian St. We will likely depart C & C at 10:45 AM EDT, and travel on I-465 to Exit 4 , then SOUTH on Indiana St. Rd. 37 to Ind. St. Rd. 44...taking St. Rd. 44 EAST to St. Rd. 135...then South to Nashville, IN.

Outstanding! You guys will be passing less than a mile from my house on the way down to Brown County as you are heading down 135 in Center Grove! I'll definitely be catching the caravan. If anyone needs to stop by the house for tire pressure checks or rest stop, let me know!

If anyone else lives on the south side of Indy and wants to get together to then meet up with the caravan en route, let me know. We can detail the cars and hang out while waiting on the northsiders to make it down to the nice side of the city.

Just a side note. I have spoken with the management of the Brown County Inn and they have given us the parking lot on the northwest side of the property. It is a small parking lot that accommodates about 50 cars and it has the benefit of the sheriff's office right next door. Great Cars, great roads, great food, great shopping, and of course ,great people! It does not get any better than this. hope to see you all there pray for good weather.

Hey Ron, just a heads up, the route above states 37 to 44 to 135. That is not 135 through center Grove. Just did not want to see you miss out.

Gotcha. That's still pretty close to the house heading south on 37. Going down 135 from Indy and the back roads is a more scenic and fun drive. If you guys are wanting to get there the quickest, then the route you specified is better. Let me know if you want to make the drive a little more scenic. There is one detour/modification you can make to the drive that doesn't take much longer but would be a lot nicer than driving down 37 most of the way.

Is anybody with a yellow/black "bumblebee" or blue/white SRT/10 coupe planning to go? I have a friend who's interested in getting one but wants to see the colors in person first.

I might actually be able to join you guys for this!

That sounds great. Man, if they are coming down 37 to 44, we are going to miss the caravan on 44 which is a great stretch of road. I'm happy to meet up though.

Fantastic C&C...with a dozen Vipers and nearly 150 other beauties of all makes. Weather was perfect as 8 Vipers headed to Brown County. One waved off but two others joined along the route making a for a dramatic entrance into Nashville...with lots a cameras taking photos.

As we arrived at our own parking lot at the Brown County Inn, we added another Viper and a Porsche.

Good meal, good meeting, GREAT FRIENDS !!

Everyone received a small, bright pocket flasklight from PartsRack (sent to us in the box of parts that I ordered last week)...THANKS, JonB !!

Hey Jon B, yes I was there, however due to a delay on UPS part, the CF Guards were not on. I did recieve them today and they look AWSOME! I am very happy with the look and very easy to install. Thanks for outstanding customer service !
