    GEN2 Cam Position Censor

This issue just presented itself to me, so before I buy anything I figured I'd ask the VOA about the availability of this part.
I've read that they are discontinued. But I've also read that there is a truck version that works.
A quick search online also turned up a few potential options.

    Any advice/recommendation is appreciated.

What makes you think you need a Cam Position Sensor?

If you are reading diagnostic codes cam position sensor often comes up, but it can be many other things, Case point on a Viper I know , Owner has now changed 4 of them and still the car has an intermittent fault. There is not much to them (basically all it does is read the high point on the upper cam wheel).
Before even removing it I would check the electrical connector plug.

I bought a couple of the truck cam position sensors before they jumped up to stupid prices and I'm holding out for when Dave 6666 Needs one

This is a link to the ones I bought, (not had to use them yet).

Very good point. I had the check engine light come on and the garage up the street told me of the code.
    Thanks for the advice.

Parts Rack was out of stock, but thanks for your help, GTS Dean.

I have new factory sensors. They are in SMP packaging who is the manufacturer of them for Dodge and have the Mopar p/n molded in the body just like if they came in the blue and white Mopar box. So no, don't need anyone else's lol.

Walker Products 235-1116 Crankshaft Position Sensor These work too...but have to swap the sensor and 5v reference pins since they are opposite to the Viper sensor....because Dodge does things like that for no reason.
