    Viper Books and other minutiae

So now that I'm retired I'm working on a series of books. No timeline as of yet, however, the 1of1 Special Paint Vipers will be interesting to document. The data pages will show "Special Paint" or "Factory Custom" for these. For those that would like to see the real color of their 1of1 Viper shown, email me the last 8 of the VIN and the real color name to viperjeff@vipertruckregistry.com, at time of printing, I will just use what I have so no worries

Small update on what is going on with these books. I have the first one complete and it was done for a friend and is not part of the basic series. It's a book that covers the Stryker Green (All Years). These are not story books, they are data books. These books were always part of what I wanted to do, print what I have and let those that want to, continue any work going forward that I was not able to complete. Getting the data is a challenge and anyone that has started their own Registry has also learned that. These books will list all 31,956 Viper VIN's and Equipment Lists in my database, however these books will contain no personal data that may have been collected during the years I worked on my own Registry. The most common build number questions answered for years I was able to obtain all the MDH's (Month/Day/Hour). These books are not for everyone, in fact are probably for very few. I make occasional updates of my progress through blog posts on the Registry, I'm not sure I can post a link, so I will not, but for those that would like to know, DM me and I'll send the link.

The Books will not be done in year order, I've been working on them based on interest and in time will eventually have them all done. Currently working on the RAM SRT-10 (aka Viper Truck) Yellow Fevers based on another friends request.

This is not a sales post , this is purely informational and if it needs to be deleted, I also understand.

Got a question for all the Viper Experts. As some know I'm working on some books, while doing that I found the following entry on the Equipment List of a 1992 Viper

St. Louis Lt. Almond Two Tone Promo

Why does that sound like a change for the interior color. Anyone heard of this being used?

I have an old site I haven't used in quite some time. I know I get messages from time to time for additional information, and instead of FB or Messenger and some other places to be left nameless, use http://www.viperregistry.com/forum/index.php

This post was prompted by a comment in Messenger, There is still some bits of information I pass on at no cost just because people would like to know. Some of that stuff if repetitive and maybe people can see it and not need to figure out how to ask. There are a lot of places that host the data and it's gotten convoluted with disappearing links and moderation depending on rules of the different sites

Tossing this up here and if it's one of those violations, delete it and I will understand

Some already know this, however, another major portion of "My" registry closed on 10/01/2021, FB will close 12/31/2021 and messenger will just go unanswered, I just down some documentation I'm doing and some build info that people request. Slowly backing away from all this stuff.

There are a number of places for the information including here within the threads and a vendor I believe, choose your favorite and enjoy

    Done

I've watched the 1-of-1 thread and it's very good. The data there is not detailed enough to add details to the data I have as the only way to truly document 1-of-1's is to tie the VIN to the details presented. I know that a lot of the details mentioned I have, the color however will be a mystery for every as the paint code on the car for the non standard colors is not a color, is translates to Special Color for example. 20 years down the road someone will find a Pink Viper hidden away in a garage and try to verify that as an original color and there is nothing on the car that will confirm that, not the VIN, not the Paint code, nothing. And FCA, etc...... ??? I'll be nice
