Fun watch! Im surprised the ZL1 time attack lap was only 1 second slower than the Calvo TT ACR at 50% power which is still over 1000rwhp, a lot more HP than the ZL1.

Always enjoyed sequential on 2 wheels and equally as good on 4 wheels..............

They are also lighter and Stronger than DCT's .

Think Calvo's latest Viper is making 3000 WHP.

I watched one of these last night, the Calvo Viper had some oiling issues apparently.

Im surprised the Porsche beat the Viper in 60-150 and the lap time. Kinda disappointed not gonna lie.

2 laps bummer. Did they over fill the engine oil?

Also surprised how fast that Audi was. That car was a bit of a monster

So if the ACR still can't put down substantial power starting at 60, 70, and 80 mph, at what speed would it start to hook up and more than make up for lost time?

Here is a little follow up to the Viper on that show. Matt explains more about it and tells some pretty interesting info! Yes, traction was a severe problem

Yeah, hammering the throttle at 60 mph in 2nd is questionable for grip even at stock power levels. I guess starting in 3rd would put it out of its powerband.

That was a good watch and explained some things! Having come from a 1000rwhp Supra many years ago and watching the driver on the show express how insane the power was (oh i remember the feeling) im looking forward to having the same experience in my ACR some day.

I'm not surprised or disappointed. IMHO Viper and Porsche compliment one another perfectly.

Another chapter in the Viper story - if it only coulda...

Regardless, was an awesome video series for the Viper (and the Porsche).

The Mk4 Supra never fails to impress. I had a '94 TT with full BPU mods, wheels, suspension, pads and fluid that I heavily tracked for years. It was bulletproof.

This! And another Matt quote..."Horsepower for show, brakes for dough"

If that series ever comes to Canada I'm going to have to swap in an aftermarket shift knob or something on the TA and Turbo S so I can say they're modified and I'd love to enter them. Using the show's criteria I think they're both contenders and they both go the distance on track reliably!

The up-coming west coast challenge should be fun and I wouldn't be surprised if they've put together some really well-sorted track capable monsters.

It would be great to find out what the issue was if anyone knows the owner. Is he on the forum? Calvo would also certainly know by now.

I was wondering about the catch can issue too but I just can't figure out how that relates to Tanner saying he got a low oil pressure warning light? Usually low oil pressure warning at full load is a very bad sign. Hopefully no major internal damage.

There is a known issue with Mopar oil sending units,??
